During the week the parking lot is full of all types of cars (shown in the picture above). When Friday afternoon approaches only two Full rows are occupied, more than half of the students in this area on campus leave. The only students who stay on campus during weekends are those who have jobs in the area , are too far from home, or don't have a car of their own. Why is it that students rather not stay on campus during the weekends? Most students on Tech campus go home during the weekends due to there being nothing sociable to do on campus or even in Russellville. Students would rather go home and spend time with family and friend than sit around their dorm all day lounging. If there were more activates on campus during the weekend our campus wouldn't be so dead Friday-Sunday.
