Technology has changed the way people communicate and keep in touch in present day.  Use to in the past people would make plans to catch up with each other, but in today's time people do not usually meet in person due to technology. Because of today's technology people are not comfortable talking in person even if they know them very well. Today people are so dependent on computers and smart phones that we do not know how to hold an actual conversation with people. This has had a huge impact on the way we socialize, which we do not do much of that these days.  Smart phones and computers tend to make it so this generation is too shy or scared to talk, because we grew up hiding behind a screen. Having a cell phone makes it so we do not have to reply at that moment in time unlike how we would have to do in person.
