Rich and poor correlation with happiness
When we think rich we think happy right? When I see an expensive looking house I'm always so jealous, because if I had a house like that then I feel like life would be even better. Which in turn would up ANYONE'S happy points. After awhile though, I realized that I probably shouldn't have gotten jealous, because that rich looking house doesn't mean I'd really be happy. Just like if I was poor and living in a less expensive house it doesn't mean I wouldn't be happy. Society has this depiction that money and the display of richness is a sign of happiness. In turn society also displays that the place we live or come from determines if we are thriving, happy, and content. I'm not rich nor poor and I'm happy with what I have and content. Is it okay to have this predetermined assumption? Has society told us that if we have money and nice things that we are the happy ones?
