Would you like All Terrain or Highway Tread?
Living in a family that owns a tire shop, you see all sorts of people come in to buy tires. You see people wanting tires for their daily drivers, and you see people who want tires for their play toys, farm equipment, lawn mowers, and so on. It is very interesting to go from sitting in the waiting room just listening to conversations, to be able to tell so much about a person by how they talk, dress, and what kind of tires they order. When people come in and order an expensive tread tire, and they're dressed in slacks, and a nice dress shirt, and they are very articulate, especially in Clarksville, you can almost tell that person has a good paying job, and are from one of the upper classes. When a person comes in and wants a used tire, or the cheapest they can get, you can tell they are factory workers, or people that have a limited income. Middle class people want to get tires that will give them the most for their money. That means that they spend 500-1000 dollars on a set of tires that will last them a few years. This class has opened my eyes up so much to everything going on around me. It has helped me get a deeper sense for the way people act, the way they do things, and just people in general.
